Day 061 (Or: Keys and Leases)

Signed the lease today :) And got our keys! Then we went to Lowe's and picked out paint for the master bedroom :D Then went back to the Feener's and watched Lord of the Rings.

Now that Kelli knows the colors for the house and stuff, she's been having a heyday picking out stuff for our registry, and editing items so that they match our colors. And today she was reading up on Dave Ramsey stuff for budgeting. She's gone into full blown marriage mode, and it's a lot of fun to watch. She even had me dinner ready when I got to her family's house after work :D I love it. She is absolutely wonderful.

So much is happening so fast. I'll be married in 8 weeks. What?

Ok, well this is short but it sure is concise. Night.

Day 060 (Or: The Days are passing by)

Today was a chill day. It was nice. Work was pleasant and then I came back to my family's house and Kelli was here with a surprise waiting for me :D I love those. And this one was good!

Ah... really not much else went on this day. I got my first bill in the mail (!!). And there was a little confusion with it, so I had to pull out my files and records and figure it out, and I'm not gonna lie, I felt like a grown up doing it, haha. Luckily, my first bill is only like 32 bucks annually :P

Oh yeah and we're completely completely stuck on Metroid. WHERE ARE YOU, SUPER BOMB. You are the key to everything...........

Willie Wonka rounded out the evening, and I think I'm getting the key to the townhouse tomorrow :)

Day 059 (Or: Laying out the game plan)

Oooooookay well. WHEW. So much....stuff. I'm getting the key on Thursday. That's...really exciting. And fairly decently daunting. I've never moved before, minus when I was like...three. I don't know. More on that later, I suppose. Once it has been processed. Just a lot of stuff to think about now.

But I'm not actually probably MOVING moving in until weekend after next or something after? Mr. Stan has kindly volunteered to paint the whole place for us the colors that we decided on (I picked the master bedroom color YEAAHH). We went down there tonight with Kelli's parents to get the paint stuff all figured out. It was nice to walk through the place again :) Home! Home home home...

That's about it for today, I guess! Lots to do, but happy I have a little more notice than like 5 days before it's time to move all my stuff in, haha. I'm guessing it'll end up being a really slow moving process, too. But uh, yeah I start paying for the place on Saturday, haha.

Oh and Kevin Schuck got back into town early so I'm not doing the Evening Blend this week. Which. Is a bummer on one hand, but with everything going on now..it's like, okay cool thanks. Haha.

We're getting married next mooooonnnnntttthhhhhhh

Day 058 (Or: At last, here we go)

I'm just going to bed. There's so much to do.

I'm moving in this weekend. I'm too tired to elaborate on that right now. But all of a sudden it's real and it's crazy and.... there's so much to do. I didn't expect it was going to be this soon. But...here it is.

So, here we go.

PS: Kelli smiled the biggest smile I have ever seen today. Just a note for posterity's sake.

Day 057 (Or: Family Day)

Got the grapple beam in Metroid today YEAAAAAHHHHHHHHH

The Feener's had my family over for burgers and salmon today for the fourth of July :D It was a lot of fun, and we talked for a good while about what is left to do for the wedding (Only EIGHT WEEKS TO GO). It was the first time that Kelli's parents, my parents, and Kelli and I all sat down together and talked about it. It's hard to get us all in the same room at the same time, haha. Everyone's running different directions. But yeah! It was a good time. I love my family AND the one I'm marrying into :)

Bethany Musgrove picture mailed me some LIGHTS she knew we were looking for that she found at Target! So Kelli and I high tailed it over there and got like 8 boxes of them so now we have the lights we were wanting for the wedding :D SUCH A BLESSING we didn't even have to go looking for them, it just fell into our laps, haha.

Watched some fireworks, 'cause that's what you do. And Kelli and I ordered a fun calendar from Zazzle. Yes.

And...I guess that's about it for today. So happy for the extended weekend! So happy.

Oh AND Weekly Weigh In: 152 lbs! :D Two pounds this week and ten total! I'm going to keep biking, I guess! Hahah... :D

Day 055 (Or: Setting In)

It's setting in that I won't be here much longer, in this house. I unplugged the mac tonight. Granted, I plugged a PC in right where the mac was, haha, so I can do some corel draw stuff for dad if I want to, but still. It was sort of my first act of "moving out." I guess that kind of sounds weird typing it out, but it's true nonetheless.

Man I come up with all this stuff I want to do when I get home from work on Friday night, but I never do any of it. I just want to chill.

And that's frustrating because I'm trying to get into shape but I'm just tired man. It was a lot easier to lose weight a couple of years ago when I was home more often. Now I work 8 hours and when I get off work, I just want to hang out. I guess I need to find some kind of energetic activity that I really enjoy doing. That I can do every day, haha. uhhhhhh we'll see. I wish I could get paid to exercise OH MAN that'd be awesome.....

THREE DAY WEEKEND.

Aaaannnd I didn't remember that Bill Murray was in Space Jam. Funny and classic.

Oh dude the FC Twin came today, man. You can play NES and SNES games on it and it's REALLY COOL I love it. Amy and Jordan said I couldn't take the SNES or NES with me so I had to improvise :P

I'm exhausted....bed.

Day 054 (Or: Another day)

I'm not going to detail it on here for all to see, but I was reminded of wonderful spiritual principles today. It helped my attitude.

But I didn't overcome a sense of emotional exhaustion all day. So. There ya go.

We had a meeting for the tween show we're cooking up at CTN. Should be cool/something not made in the eighties. I'm excited to see what it becomes.

It was nice to see Jennifer's new place and some old friends tonight. Sorry I was so worn out!

Ahhhhhhh 59 days til I don't have to tell her goodbye anymore. I'm really excited for cars to play less of a role in my existence.

Alright well that's it. I'm going to bed. Another day done.
